Superior shooting suspect identified as a Duluth man

The suspect in the January 16th Superior shooting has been identified as a Duluth man. The shooting took place at an apartment building on the 3800 Tower Avenue with one victim.

The victim suffered a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm.
The suspect was later located and arrested by Superior Police officers. The suspect was positively identified as 21 year-old Sidua A. Boyd of Duluth, MN.
According to the Douglas County Courts, Boyd was charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer.
