STARBASE is excited about the summer, which includes their first ever golf scramble.

Tis the season to swing your golf clubs. And you’re invited to do so to support STEM education in the Northland.

The Inaugural Golf Tournament Benefiting STARBASE is coming up on Friday, July 12th, at Nemadji Golf Course.

ark Data Centers, formerly known as Involta, is the presenting sponsor and organizer.

“We like to give back to the community,” shared Lucas Mistelske, Vice President of Client Experience. “It’s important to support programs like STARBASE, which inspire the next generation for ark and other companies in our community.”

STARBASE Minnesota-Duluth is grateful for the support. “It’s a natural partnership with them, and we are excited for this event,” shared Director Charity Johnson.

They are busy ramping up for their summer camp season. “We’ll have five sessions of Summer Explorers. And we’re piloting a girls-only STEM camp called Code Quest, which is sold out,” Johnson said.

Plus, STARBASE is adding a scholarship this fall. More details to come.
