Temporary closures on the Blatnik Bridge

The Blatnik Bridge will close for a few days.

On Saturday, July 13, the on-ramp from Garfield Avenue in Duluth along with the southbound side of the I-535 Blatnik Bridge will close from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists will be detoured to the Highway 2 Bong Bridge.

On Monday and Tuesday, July 15 and 16, the northbound side of the the Blatnik Bridge from Superior will close from 10 a.m. Monday to 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Motorists will be detoured to the Highway 2 Bong Bridge.

And now until Thursday, July 25, there will single lane closures in both directions on the Blatnik Bridge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

This will allow for routine inspection and maintenance on the bridge.
