The 8th annual Yellow Ribbon Golf Scramble for Veterans kicks off

The 8th annual Yellow Ribbon Golf Scramble for Veterans was held Friday June 28th. The event raises funding for different non-profit veteran organizations every year.

This year’s funding went to the Silver Bay Veteran’s home. In all 208 golfers attended despite rainy weather.

“Definitely not a professional golf event. We do a lot of goofy on course games,” said Minnesota Power Project Development Leader Brian Maslowski. “That’s part of the fundraiser. You can pay to do it normal, or you can be part of our shenanigans.”
