The Heart Walk celebrates top walkers and sponsors, plus announces plans after rainout

Wednesday, the Heart Walk celebrated their top walkers and sponsors after last week’s rain canceled their walk over the weekend.
They have rescheduled their heart walk for September 30th at Leif Erickson Park.
At their Wednesday press conference, American Heart Association Member Brianna Johnson announced that this year the Northland Heart Walk was able to raise over $120,000. Which is a new record for them. They also handed out awards for their top walkers, sponsors, and recruiters.
Next year will be the 100th year celebration of the American Heart Association and that means it will be a very important Heart Walk. And next year The Heart Walk will be moving from Leif Erickson Park to Fitger’s. The Ambassador adding that next time will be rain or shine event.
