Monday two players from the Twins, Pitcher Griffin Jax and Batter Matthew Wallner, came to visit with fans and food vendors at the fair before their game.

The two of them say there’s nothing like the Minnesota State fair or the people they get to meet along the way. There’s also a lot of hype to finish out this baseball season strong.

Each day at the fair, fans of all ages can take batting practice or compete in a special Home Run Derby at the Minnesota Twins Experience wiffle ball field, complete with a replica Target Field outfield wall and videoboard. Additionally, the Twins will have two sets of bag boards set up near the wiffle ball field, for fans to play.

The Twins will have twice-daily giveaways, at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., for the first 400 fans who visit the Experience during those hours.
