Tischer Creek Trail closed until further notice due to fallen tree
Tischer Creek Trail is closded due to a tree on the bridge in Congdon Park.
City of Duluth officials want the public to know that the Tischer Creek Hiking Trail in Congdon Park will be closed until further notice, effective immediately.
According to a release from the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department, a bridge on the trail received significant damage due to a fallen tree. A city engineer will be doing a structural analysis of the bridge. No word on how long the assessment will take or when the trail will reopen.
The City of Duluth will update the community when information is provided. For safety, the Tischer Creek Hiking Trail in Congdon Park will be closed.
Other trees are down along the trail and creek.
