Train vs truck crash in Floodwood

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a train vs truck crash on Friday. The crash was in Floodwood Township, in the 11000 block of Hwy-2.
A large tow truck driven by a Minnesotan man was crossing the tracks when it was struck by the train.
Floodwood Fire, St. Louis County Rescue Squad, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Burlington Northern Sante Fe (BNSF) responded to the scene of the crash. There were no injuries reported.
The crash is under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, BNSF, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
