True North Goodwill held a groundbreaking for their new flagship retail location in Hermantown on 4716 Lindgren Road. The new location will be a large-scale retail store, covered donation drive thru, and career navigation center to the Hermantown community.

The new location will be replacing the current Goodwill store at, 4883 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN 55811, which is closing Spring 2025.

True North Goodwill’s President and CEO Dodie Brown, leadership team members, and board of directors joined property owner and developer Platinum Properties for the upcoming build.

“Once complete, this new location is not only going to be a wonderful place to treasure shop, and find a bargain,” Brown said. “But donations and purchases will further our mission of inspiring personal transformation through the power of learning and career development.”

Representatives from the Hermantown Chamber of Commerce and Duluth Chamber of Commerce also attended the event. Construction on the new location starts this month and should be finished by Spring of 2025.
