True North Goodwill holds first annual Ghoulwill Ball

The first annual Ghoulwill Ball hosted by True North Goodwill happened today at the DECC.

Director of Marketing and Communications Scott Vezina says it been quite some time since Goodwill has put on any sort of fundraising event. He says “we have a very rich history as the tenth ever goodwill in the entire world, 105 years old this year, which is super exciting.”

Tonight those who purchased tickets enjoyed dinner, live music, a costume contest, silent auction and more.

Vezina says he’s happy about the turnout and encourages people to shop at their local Goodwill. “When people shop and donate, it all supports local employees.”

“So we’re all gathered tonight to support our mission, celebrate our our mission along with our generous sponsors who have, you know, really provided for us to do the event,” said Veniza.
