Two females injured in an ATV crash
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an ATV crash on the Harlis Trail in the Nemadji State Forest in Holyoke Township around 4:01 PM on July 8th.
Authorities say the ATV lost traction on the sandy trail and slid into a tree with both the driver, an adult female and the passenger a juvenile female sustaining injuries.
Both victims were transported to the hospital via ambulance and the crash remains under investigation by the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.
The police report said, The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol, Essentia Health-Moose Lake Ambulance and Kerrick Fire and Rescue.
