UMD honors students prepare five courses of French cuisine for their final exam
Students created a five-course meal for their final exam on Monday night.
A final exam focused on making French cuisine was a total success on Monday night.
University honors students made a five course meal for members of the community.
They’ve spent the past semester with Professor Dana Lindaman, learning the fine art of cooking in his French Cuisine class.
He introduces them to suppliers and farmers, so they understand more about where food comes.
And they gain valuable skills in the kitchen.
Johanna Broten, a senior, has made the French bread several times, including for a bridal shower.
“It’s been cool to learn about French cooking, and how meticulous it is. And how we can do it ourselves,” Broten added.
