Update: Police execute search warrant at Vineyard Church in Duluth
The Vineyard Church has updated its members about the investigation involving one of its former leaders. This is the update posted on Thursday, May 4th, from the Special Committee.
“Today, the Duluth Police Department executed a search warrant at the Duluth Vineyard’s Arrowhead location. This appears to be related to their ongoing investigation of allegations against (a former leader.) The warrant was issued upon a judge’s finding of probable cause.
We strongly encourage anyone with information related to criminal activity to report it to law enforcement. Please do so by calling 911. “
Allegations surfaced earlier this year, at which time the church suspended the leader.
The senior pastor at the Vineyard Church resigned in February. There are allegations that the Pastor knew about the misconduct allegations against another church leader, and failed to act. Authorities continue to investigate the report of misconduct.
