According to a Duluth Police Department press release, on Sunday September 1st, the Duluth Police Department arrested an individual pending charges of 2nd Degree Murder, 1st Degree Arson, 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Interference with a Dead Body.

This arrest was made after the DPD determines and investigated suspicious circumstances surrounding Maxon Gudowski’s death in a structure fire on Thursday, July 25th.

This is still an active investigation at this time.
