UWS ends Black History Month with annual soul food dinner

The Black Student Union at the University of Wisconsin-Superior hosted its popular Soul Food dinner and program on Sunday.
Guests were invited to the Yellowjacket Union Great Room for a dinner consisting of traditional African American and African dishes. In addition, UW-Superior students provided performances that included, dances, singing and music, as well as presentations about their cultures.
The event was free and open to the community. Organizers said it was a good way to get people connected during Black History Month.
