Tire in the roadway causes vehicle rollover on I-35 in Duluth

Drivers going southbound on I-35 in Duluth encountered a vehicle rollover Friday afternoon.

Traffic cameras from the Minnesota Department of Transportation first showed a vehicle on its roof in tunnel #1. Drivers were rerouted off the interstate and on to Lake Avenue, while crews worked to clear the rolled vehicle.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Jeep was traveling southbound just after 2:30pm, when it struck a tire in the roadway, causing the vehicle to rollover.

Traffic was flowing again about an hour after the crash happened.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
