Fatal vehicle vs pedestrian accident in Meadowlands

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, crews responded to reports of a woman run over by a vehicle around 6:52 pm on Friday. The incident occurred on Blue Spruce Road and Swenson Road in Meadowlands.

Lifesaving efforts were attempted, but the woman died at the scene.

An investigation from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Examiner’s Office is underway. The incident appears to be unintentional.

Names of the involved parties are being held until the family is notified.
