Victory 5K coming up in Hibbing, runners and volunteers can sign up now

Victory Christian Academy is pleased to announce that the annual Victory 5K race will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

This family-friendly community event is also a certified and sanctioned USATF race, drawing many runners from across Minnesota.

Last year with the 5K relaunch, they had 250 participants registered, which is an unheard-of number for a first year race.

The anticipated registration for 2025 is 300-400 participants. The events for the weekend will again include a pasta feed, a Kids Fun Run, and race day activities.

Making a positive impact on the community is a priority at VCA. As part of this mission, they will once again donate a portion of the Victory 5K proceeds to Project Care Free Clinic in Hibbing.

Project Care provides free basic health care services to those who are underinsured or uninsured. For every $48 raised to Project Care, the cost of one patient’s labs, x-rays, and office visit are covered. In 2024, we donated $2,250 towards this cause, and in 2025 we hope to increase this even more. Both Project Care and VCA are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations aimed at serving well those who walk through their doors.
