Voyageur Trail snowmobile accident

Saturday afternoon around 3:00pm, first responders were dispatched to the Ash River Trail Resort related to a report of an individual involved in a snowmobile accident on the Voyageur’s Trail.

The male individual had been driving his snowmobile in a convoy on the Voyageur Trail 3 miles South East of Ash River, his snowmobile truck a rock which caused him to fly off the snowmobile.

Members of his convoy were able to move him to the Ash River Resort to await medical attention. He was then transported to the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth with non-life threatening injuries.
