Wild State Cider launches new cider called Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp
You can now enjoy a new cider at Wild State Cider.
On Friday, they launched the Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp, which is the first of three Imperial ciders planned for the year.
Imperial is the fastest growing cider type. They are made by starting with sweeter apple juice, creating a higher alcohol cider. Imperials usually have 8% ABV or higher compared to the 4-7% ABV of a typical hard cider.
As the name implies, the Hazy Honeycrisp cider is made with a blend of dessert apples, including the University of Minnesota developed Honeycrisp apple. This new, semi-sweet cider is crisp and bright with notes of honey, made with only apples, no honey.
The apple juice used to sweeten the cider is unfiltered, giving it a hazy look and a rich & juicy taste.
Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp will be a year-round offering like Wild State’s other flagships, joining Hazy Pink Pineapple, Wild Apple, Classic Dry, and Raspberry Hibiscus. The Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp is available in the Taproom and is hitting shelves in the coming days. In some places, as soon as this weekend.
It’s been a big week, with Wild State being named the official hard cider of Minnesota United.
And you can get the mint flavored Creamee ice cream right now, in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
