Duluth firefighters free maintenance worker who was pinned under a boom
A maintenance worker has been taken to the hospital after being pinned briefly under the weight of a boom.
This happened along the 300 block of W 1st Street around 11:40am.
Duluth Fire said they got the call out about a maintenance worker on a telescoping boom lift who was pinned to the exterior of the building.
A portion of the sidewalk under the boom had collapsed.
Crews used air lift bags to free the worker, which took about 10 minues.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance brought the person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
