Woman injured from snowmobile accident
A 62-year-old woman from Shoreview, MN was injured on Saturday when the snowmobile she was driving struck a tree (St. Louis County Sheriff's Office).
At approximately 12:59 pm on Monday, a snowmobile accident was reported north of Orr. Area first responders and law enforcement responded to the scene on the Arrowhead trail.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, a woman, 62, was injured when the snowmobile she was driving struck a tree. The Shoreview woman was the only occupant of the snowmobile.
The injured woman was transported from the scene by Orr EMS to an awaiting medical helicopter which flew her to a Twin Cities hospital for advanced care. She is believed to have suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
