Celebrate vegetables with Salsa Fest

St. Louis County Extension and the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners are proud to present Salsa Fest, a fun, festive, educational event to celebrate salsa and all of the veggies that go into making salsa. The festival is on Tuesday, October 17th from 6-8:30 at Salem Lutheran Church in Hermantown (4715 Hermantown Rd).

The event features presentation on how to grow salsa vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and garlic. They will also be discussing safe food presentation. There will also be a Salsa Contest open to the public judged by local celebrities. All attendees will receive a salsa recipe and resource book.

The program costs $20 which includes the presentations, recipe sampling, and the recipe and resource book.
