Support the Damiano Center while having a good time

Today on GMN Sierra Naess sat down with Christopher Pars, the Associate Director of the Damiano Center. They talked about the upcoming spring fundraiser the Damiano Center hosts and what to expect from this event.

Tomorrow night, Duluth will be the place to be as the Damiano Center hosts its annual spring fundraiser, Feeding Our Community. A night filled with live music, delicious food, raffles, and plenty of opportunities to give back, all for an incredible cause.

“We’re so excited for tomorrow’s event,” said Christopher Paris, Associate Director of the Damiano Center. “It’s going to be a great time for the community to come together, support a meaningful cause, and enjoy some fun activities.”

Attendees can look forward to a live auction, a wine pull, and a unique game of envelopes—all designed to raise donations for the Kids Kitchen program, which helps serve around 100 meals per month to children in need. “All the funds raised will go directly to our Kids Kitchen program,” Christopher shared. “It’s a drop-in center where kids come after school for science-based education and a good meal.”

The evening promises heartfelt moments as well. “It’s always wonderful to hear our staff share personal stories about the impact of our programs,” Christopher added. “You can really feel the difference we’re making in the lives of those who come through our doors.”

For anyone still considering attending, tickets are available for just $25 today. “We’d love to see you there,” Christopher said. “It’s all for a great cause, and we’re hoping today’s snow won’t get in the way.”

Don’t miss out! Feeding Our Community takes place tomorrow, April 3rd, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Duluth. Be there for an unforgettable evening of support, fun, and community spirit.
