Ross Thorn stopped by the studio to preview his Homegrown Festival performance for 2024. The Wisconsin native who is now located in Duluth has been creating music for most of his life.

In 2023, he released his debut album, Hugo, was awarded a Trampled by Turtles Palomino grant, and was the opening act for Jenny Lewis and Trampled by Turtle.

GMN Music Performance Interview: Ross Thorn
Ross Thorn stopped by the studio to give us a sneak peak at his upcoming performance at the Homegrown Music Festival.
Thorn will share the stage with a Duluth string music collective including Cavan Denning, Jen Krussow and Clif Nesseth. His performance will be on Friday, May 3rd, starting at 8 p.m at the Sacred Heart Music Center. That performance will be an all ages show.
