In today’s Tech Bytes, Apple is poised to unveil its latest device, widely believed to be the next-generation iPhone SE. CEO Tim Cook teased Wednesday’s event, posting, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family.” Online tech reports suggest that the new phone may have a larger display and no home button.
Next, the Google Gemini AI chatbot can now recall past conversations. Previously, Gemini had limited memory for remembering user preferences. The new feature is designed to make Gemini more responsive to users but can be disabled.
Additionally, YouTube will now allow users to publish AI-generated video clips to Shorts. Google’s VO2 video model is being integrated into YouTube Shorts tools. The feature rolled out Thursday in the U.S. and three other countries, with more countries expected to get the feature very soon.
