Interview: UMD Theatre opens new season

UMD Theatre is opening this year’s season starting Friday, September 30th with “Main Street”, professor Tom Isbell’s adaptation of Sinclair Lewis’s most famous novel about small-town life in Minnesota. Professor Isbell directs his premiere production of Lewis’s satire about the life and struggles of Carol Kennicott as she comes into conflict with the small-town mentality of the residents of Gopher Prairie, Minnesota.

Actresses Thressa Schultz and Olivia Nelson joined us in studio to talk about the new season and their passion for theatre!
