Legally Blonde the Musical takes the stage at Denfeld High
The much-loved musical Legally Blonde is making its way to Denfeld High, and I had the chance to sit down with two of the talented cast members, Natylee Anderson and Bella Dimarco, to get a sneak peek into what’s been happening behind the scenes.
“It’s been so much fun,” said Natylee, who plays Paulette, the spunky hairdresser. “We have one of the largest casts we’ve ever worked with, and honestly, my favorite part has been getting to work with live dogs. It’s a little challenging, but they’re super cute and well-trained!”
Bella, who portrays the quirky judge, chimed in, “It’s a lot of fun to bring my character to life. She’s full of spunk and has some really fun, quirky lines!”
But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. “The most challenging part has definitely been adjusting to the new space at Lincoln Park Middle School,” Natylee shared. “We have a huge set, and moving around it has been interesting, but the cast has come together so well to make it work.”
With rehearsals in full swing, it’s clear the cast is giving their all. “Everyone’s been so supportive, and we’re all working hard to bring this show to life,” Bella added.
Legally Blonde will be performing April 17th, 18th, and 19th at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. show on Saturday. Tickets are already selling quickly, so be sure to grab yours at denfeldtheater.com.
Don’t miss out on the chance to see these talented cast members bring this iconic musical to life! It’s sure to be a show full of laughs, spunk, and a whole lot of heart.
