Miner’s Inc. makes large donation to the Damiano Center for the holiday season
Miner’s Inc will be presenting a $10,000 check Thursday to the Damiano Center Kids’ Kitchen for the holiday season. This is an annual tradition from Miner’s Inc going back over a decade.
Miner’s Inc and Super One Foods are happy to continue their support of the Damiano Center. The funds will be directed to be utilized by the Kids’ Kitchen within the Damiano Center. The purpose of the Kids’ Kitchen is to reduce childhood hunger and malnutrition by providing meals, education and a place for kids to go after school and in the summer.
“We are thrilled to continue our support for the Damiano Center and contribute to their outstanding efforts to help children in the Duluth area.” said Patrick Miner, President of Miner’s Inc. “The Miner Family and Super One Foods believe everyone deserves food security and a safe place to enjoy a warm meal. The Damiano Center helps provide access to meals along with many other services and programs that positively impact our community.
“We are so thankful for Super One’s annual donation to the Damiano Center Kids’ Kitchen program. Their partnership is so instrumental in giving kids (and their families) a safe place to relax, play, eat good food, and just be kids. We could not do this important work without them.” said Seth Currier, Executive Director at the Damiano Center.
