Pet of the week: Arjay

Pet of the week: Arjay

Arjay is Good Morning Northland's Pet of the Week with Animal Allies! This sweet and energetic dog is looking for a loving home. More information on how to adopt him can be found on the GMN page of WDIO.com

Arjay is a 1-year-old pup looking for a loving home to call his own. He has been at the shelter since June 26th.

Arjay is a wiggly and energetic young dog who found his way to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about his background. He loves to greet new friends with lots of butt wiggles, big tail wags, and will jump up to try to give as many kisses as possible. Arjay recently completed a month of training, and whoever adopts him will also receive free follow-up training to continue working together.

He is very playful with other dogs and might enjoy living with another high-energy, playful pup. The staff is unsure how Arjay behaves around cats or young children, but due to his jumpy nature, he would likely do best in a home with older children.

His ideal home would be active, willing to continue his training, and full of love and affection.

If you’re interested in adopting Arjay, you can visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM. A nonrefundable $25 hold can be placed towards his adoption fee to put you first in line. The adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday from 10:30am-4:00pm. The adoption process is first come, first serve.
