Pet of the Week: Kuma

Pet of the Week: Kuma

Kuma is Good Morning Northland's Animal Allies pet of the week. This super sweet six-year-old dog is looking for a loving home. If you want more information on how to adopt Kuma, head over to the GMN page of WDIO.com

Meet Kuma! This 6-year-old beauty is looking for a loving home to call her own. Kuma has been at the shelter since December 15 and is ready to find her perfect match.

She’s a gorgeous and attention-loving lady who enjoys the outdoors and going on adventures. Kuma loves being near her favorite humans and soaking up all the chest and neck scratches she can get. While she may be a little nervous when meeting new people, treats are the way to her heart and will help her warm up in no time.

Kuma’s ideal home would not include cats or young children, but she does well with older kids. She can be dominant and resource guard with other dogs, so she would thrive as the only dog in the household.

If you’re interested in adopting Kuma, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341. You can place a nonrefundable $25 hold toward her adoption fee to secure the first spot in line. The adoption team is available by phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The adoption process is first come, first served!
