Tech Bytes: Smart Glasses for Amazon Delivery Drivers
Amazon experiments with AR Glasses for their delivery drivers. YouTube tests a swipe up feature on full-length videos. LG unveils stretchable display that can expand from 12 to 18 inches.
Amazon is reportedly testing AR glasses for its delivery drivers. The smart glasses could provide directions, help navigate buildings, and replace GPS devices. Amazon says it’s working to make deliveries more efficient, but there’s no word if the glasses will be used by its drivers permanently.
YouTube is testing a new swipe-up feature for full-length videos. The move, spotted by testers on Android, mimics TikTok’s swipe-up gesture, which skips to the next video. The feature is limited to a small test group, and YouTube hasn’t commented on a wider release yet.
LG has unveiled a stretchable display that can expand from 12 to 18 inches. The screen can be stretched over 10,000 times without losing its sharpness. LG says it could be used in clothing, cars, and even safety gear like firefighter uniforms.
