Tech Bytes: Apple debuts new iOS features at WWDC
In today's Tech Bytes from ABC: Apple debuted a wide variety of new features for its devices, including RCS support for messages, the photos app is getting a refresh, and AirPods Pro is getting some accessibility features.
Big news for iPhone users. Apple is adding enhancements to its messaging app with RCS, which is an advancement on SMS. The upgrade improves message quality, adds encryption, and enables features like read receipts and typing indicators for Android and iPhone Users, making cross-platform chats seamless and secure.
Apple’s Photo app is also getting a major makeover. Includes smarter organization, auto collages, and a new carousel view. Apple says users will be able to find “favorite pictures” more easily.
Apple’s AirPods just got smarter. An update will include new head-nodding gestures, which let you silently respond to Siri, making interactions easier in crowded places. Plus, the update will include improved voice isolation to enhance call quality in noisy environments.
