Tech Bytes: iOS 18.2 rolls out

In today's Tech Bytes from ABC News: Apple's iOS 18 update rolls out, Microsoft announces new feature to make using an iPhone with Windows easier, and Master Class is expanding the online learning platform.

Apple’s latest update has arrived with a fresh batch of AI. iOS 18.2 includes GenMoji, allowing users to create custom emojis by entering a description. The Image Playground feature can generate images based on your conversations. And for the first time, there’s ChatGPT integration.

Microsoft is rolling out a new feature that’s perfect for iPhone users who have a Windows PC. It’s called Phone Link—similar to Apple’s AirDrop. For now, it’s in beta mode, but when it’s fully up and running, it will allow users of both platforms to share files easily.

The subscription platform MasterClass is expanding and now offers on-demand access to its most popular experts. The On Call app enables conversations with AI versions of instructors. For now, the selection of experts is limited, but more are coming soon.
