Tech Bytes: Apple XR Headset

A big day for Apple. The Worldwide Developers Conference starts today. The product launch may include a long rumored AR/VR headset which would overlay virtual images on real-world scenes.
Also expected, software updates to enhance features on iPhones, Apple Watches and other devices.

Youtube says it “carefully deliberated” a change of policy, that now allows videos that falsely claim fraud in the 2020 U.S. election. Such videos had been banned since December of that year. Youtube isn’t offering any specific reasons for the policy change.

And finally, a plan for free cell phone service may be in the works. Bloomberg is reporting that Amazon is in talks with the top carriers to offer its prime subscribers cell service at either no extra charge or at rock-bottom prices of around $10 per month.
