Instagram is shutting down live shopping. By mid-March, creators will no longer be able to tag products in livestreams. It follows the decision to remove the shopping tab from Instagram’s home feed. The company says the move will help focus on features “most valuable” to users..
Add “Google Fiber” to the list of 5G internet service providers. It comes with free rental of a wi-fi six router, unlimited data, and no contract requirements. Subscribers can get the plan for $125 per month, which reports say is the lowest in the industry.
Finally, a new driver-less taxi is one step closer to reality. Zoox, which is owned by Amazon, says it tested a robo-taxi on public roads last week. Zoox says its workers will use it to shuttle between offices in the spring.
