Apple expands its self repair program. Consumers and repair shops will soon be able to use genuine used Apple parts to fix devices rather than having to order brand new components. It will reportedly start with iPhone 15 and newer models. 

Instagram is testing a new tool aimed at protecting miners from sextortion. That’s when someone  blackmails a user after getting them to send explicit photos of themselves. The future is to automatically blur all  images with nudity sent in direct messages.

Uber is rearranging all of its safety tools, putting them all in one place for easier access. Passengers can  choose when and if those safety tools should be automatically activated. This feature will be especially  helpful to women traveling alone late at night
