Tech Bytes: Insta 360 Go 3

Instagram and Facebook messenger now have more parental control tools. They allow parents to supervise their teens on the apps, letting them see how much time their child spends on messenger, and who they’re interacting with. But parents cannot see the messages their kids are sending.

The podcasting app “Stitcher” is on its way out. Parent company Sirius XM says the popular web service is shutting down at the end of August. However, Stitcher’s premium content may move elsewhere. The move is part of a strategy to push users to the broader Sirius XM platform.

Finally, a really tiny camera has hit market, the Insta 360 Go 3 comes with a hat clip and a magnetic pendant mount, so you can take it just about anywhere. The detachable case includes a flip-screen for a live view of what you’re recording. Price tag – about $380.
