Tech Bytes: Meta job cuts

Weight Watchers is buying the subscription telehealth platform, Sequence.
The move gives Weight Watchers customers access to doctors who can write prescriptions for medications like Ozempic. Many doctors also prescribe the diabetes drug to patients with obesity because it leads to weight loss.

Next, Meta – the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is reportedly planning to cut thousands more jobs. Bloomberg reports the cuts could start as soon as this week. Meta slashed 11,000 workers in November.

Apple is expected to reveal its new iPhone color today. Online tech reports say the new 14 and 14 Plus will be available in yellow. Last year, Apple released shades of green for the iPhone 13s and purple for the iPhone 12s in 2021.
