NPR will no longer post on the platform, after Twitter labeled it “state-affiliated media”, a term used for communist propaganda news sites. NPR says the government funding it receives is less than 1% of its budget.
You can now prove that you are who you say you are on LinkedIn. The platform unveiled new features to verify your identity and employer, and you get a check mark as evidence. LinkedIn members can confirm their credentials with a code sent to their work email.
Finally, an updated national parks feature on Google Maps, just in time for summer. Google says park directions are getting more precise, and there’s new help to see a park’s most popular places.
Trail searches now highlight an entire route and elevations, making it easier to know where a trail begins and ends.
