Samsung debuts trade-in program for older Galaxy phones, and you don't even have to get a new Samsung phone either. Google Messages returns customizable contacts for users. Nintendo to sell their Alarmo in March to those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Samsung’s new plan, get rid of your old phone with no-strings attached. The company’s Galaxy Easy Reward program lets you hand in an old device, without purchasing another one. Right now, the pilot program is underway in France and Korea.

Then, Google Messages is bringing back a feature it had taken away, customizable contacts. The texting app will once again let you set a name and photo of your choosing for each of your contacts, so you’ll no longer be forced to stick with what’s in their Google profile.

Finally, Nintendo is going to start selling its Alarmo at U.S. retailers in March. Currently, it’s only available to those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Among the features of the $99 alarm clock, users can turn it off simply by getting out of bed.
