In today’s Tech Byte, Samsung’s new robot is ready to roll. It’s called Ballie, and Samsung says it will go on sale in the U.S. this summer. Ballie can process voice, audio, and visual data through its sensors. Samsung says it can even offer health and style recommendations.
Next, new technology is being used to find the best tuna for sushi. A new machine uses AI and ultrasound waves to inspect the marbling in tuna meat instead of cutting into the tail, drastically reducing the time it takes to determine the quality of tuna fillets.
Finally, one of the hottest items on eBay, Trader Joe’s has just released $3 mini canvas totes in pastel colors, and they are flying off the shelves. Resellers have listed them on eBay for as much as $1,600. Trader Joe’s says they are restocking daily as long as the bags remain available.
