Tech Bytes: Snapchat AI chatbot

Snapchat is rolling out its AI chatbot to all of its users, for free. The ‘My AI’ tool can be added to group chats, answer questions, and give recommendations. It can also respond to messages with a fully AI-generated image. The chatbot was initially available only to paid subscribers.

A rebranding for Google’s wireless carrier. Google Fi is now Google Fi Wireless. It’s offering a free phone for each line added to any of it’s plan, as well as expanded support for smart watches. There’s also a redesigned app that will roll out in the next few weeks.

Finally, Tesla has made another price cut, its sixth of the year. Model 3’s now start at a shade below $40,000, a drop of two grand. It’s the second price cut for that model in two weeks. The move came ahead of the company’s earnings report.
