Tech Bytes: Snapchat expands use of AI

A bug fix on “X.” The social media site says it corrected a glitch that caused images in Tweets prior to December 2014 to disappear. No details on what caused the bug, but X’s support account says the issue will be fully resolved in the coming days.

Tesla owners can now use Siri to control their car. The latest update to Tesla’s iPhone app supports shortcuts for some common tasks. So you can ask Siri to open the trunk and window and adjust media volume. But the update does not give Teslas a built in voice control system.

Snapchat appears to be expanding its use of artificial intelligence. Reports say Snapchat is developing a new feature called “dreams” where a user can upload a selfie, and AI will generate pictures of that person in different scenarios.
