In today’s Tech Bytes, the company says an investigation found thousands of fake business profiles or legitimate accounts that had been hacked. Now, it is suing the alleged scammers, accusing them of creating and selling these profiles online.
Next, Apple is being sued for false advertising over Apple Intelligence. A group of consumers is seeking damages, claiming that Apple promoted intelligence features, including an enhanced Siri, while knowing they wouldn’t be ready as planned. There is no comment from Apple yet.
Finally, the company that owns Edible Arrangements has created an e-commerce shop that’s taking a bite out of the edible market. Instead of just offering fruit baskets, it launched edibles.com for gummies and other hemp products. They’re starting in Texas before rolling out nationwide and also plan to open Brick-and-Mortar stores.
