A change is coming to Instagram and Facebook, users will soon need to pay if they want to become a verified account. CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the new subscription service is aimed at improving security. For $11.99 a month, you’ll get a blue verified badge and direct access to customer support. The program launches in the US later this year.
Twitter will soon charge users for two-factor authentication. After March 20th, that extra layer of security using text message will go away, unless you’re a Twitter Blue subscriber.
Finally, Starlink is testing a new satellite internet service. The SpaceX owned company says it’s Global Roaming service will let users connect from almost anywhere on land in the world, for $200 a month.
