Sandra Merritt’s kidney function continues to decline. “The labs are showing that I’m at 15%,” she said. But she’s feeling good for now.

Still, the retired firefighter would like to find a match for a new kidney before the function drops down too low, which would lead to dialysis.

“I have three grown sons, and I’d like to be a grandma someday,” she told us.

Thanks to help from the Mayo Clinic, she now has a website that has information on it, so people can learn more about her and her need.
