Beargrease weekend kicked off with some stiff competition at Fitgers, as they hosted the 2025 Cutest Puppy Contest and Mini Sled Dog Races.

Up to 40 puppies from ages 4-9 months competed for the title of the Cutest Puppy.

This cutest puppy winners were:
1st place: Nitro
2nd place: Onyx
3rd place: Moxi

“It just really brings the whole community out for something to do, especially in the middle of the winter. Usually this is in January, but it got pushed back a little bit for weather reasons. But it is just so fun to get everybody outside and out in an event and as a community and whole,” said owner of A Place for Fido, Jamie Parent.
