Saturday, July 15 is now 715 Day in Superior. It is a new event that celebrates residents, businesses, and offerings of the city.
“We were just looking for a way to celebrate our community, and we were seeing area code days pop up around the country. And we thought, how fun would that be?” Rebecca Sherf from the City of Superior explains.
There will be events around the city throughout the day at different local businesses and community staples, ending with a grand finale at the historic Carnegie Library.
They will light up the outside of the Carnegie. Plus, expect the musical stylings of Breanne Marie & the Front Porch Sinners.
In fact, they first thought of the event just a few weeks ago, “It’s a really great example of how our community comes together and pulls off a huge event within just a couple weeks notice.”
