A sweet stop at Sweetly Kismet

Just 20 miles south of Duluth on I-35 is Sweet Kismet, one of the largest candy stores in the state.

Ashley Parrot, her husband, and three kids own the store. They say the majority of their 5,000 sq. ft. space is used for candy.

“We get a lot of tourists and we get a lot of local people who support us too. They give us the ability to stay open year round,” Parrot tells The Lift.

This Saturday, the stores hours are changing for Summer. They’ll be open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. – 8p.m.. “We’re ready to see those kids coming in. That’s my favorite part of the business, is to see those families come and all the smiles.”
